 COMPIS - COMPuter In School - A Swedish government project to provide computers to the schools. Manufactured by the Televerket subsidiary Teli (Tele Industrier) in Nynäshamn outside Stockholm. Based on 80186 and running CP/M-86. Unfortunately not IBM PC compatible so software was a scarce resource. The monochrome display was controlled by a, for it's time, advanced graphical processor, NEC uPD7220. |
