Finally, after almost one and a half year of work (not full time though...) I am finished restoring the PDP-11/04 computer and it works together with a contemporary tape drive and a printing terminal. The machine is running the CAPS-11 operating system and also the CAPS-11/BASIC. See here for the full story and also a short video clip.
